Observe social distancing

outdoors and indoors

Wash hands

and keep clean before and after

Cover mouth

when coughing and sneezing

Practice sanitizing and disinfecting

frequently touched surfaces and objects

Ventilate closed rooms

and common areas that are in-use

Stay at home

if you are feeling sick

Transmission

  • It is capable of transmitting via tiny liquid droplets. When an infected person speaks, sings, sneezes, coughs, or breathes, these particles are released, ranging in size from larger respiratory droplets to microscopic aerosols.

  • It spreads through people who are at least 1 meter of close contact with one another.

  • It can spread from poorly ventilated areas and/or crowded indoor venues.

  • It can spread from a person who has touched a contaminated surface.
