Transmission

It is capable of transmitting via tiny liquid droplets. When an infected person speaks, sings, sneezes, coughs, or breathes, these particles are released, ranging in size from larger respiratory droplets to microscopic aerosols.

It spreads through people who are at least 1 meter of close contact with one another.

It can spread from poorly ventilated areas and/or crowded indoor venues.

It can spread from a person who has touched a contaminated surface.
